The land of Brands
Everyone has an image that they are trying to maintain, whether they recognize it or not. You may do this on purpose, such as buying a certain brand of clothing, or it might just be a certain style is more comfortable. Every style choice from your clothes to your hair and even your personality culminates in what makes up your image. The problem is that many people hide behind that image and try and live out the image and become fake in the process. These people are so wrapped up in what the image or brand they are trying to portray that they lose their real self in the process. So can you to find real people not actors in the land of the brands and the home of the fakes?
Getting below the surface
The problem with fake people is that many times they don’t know they are fake. They think they are just trendy. But they are really just following the trends that everyone else is, so they become more a sheep than a trend setter. To find a real people not actors it is important to get to the root of the person without the image. When you see someone in the morning fresh out of bed brushing their teeth, without the brands and without their image on, you start to see the real person. Having deep conversations about the world and the bigger picture brings you closer to finding a real person. Finding out what moves you more than what trends you follow will get to know the real person.
To far gone
Everyone can be real people not actors, but most are not. Everyone started out as real people as children then bought into the lie the world said you could become by purchasing certain products and projecting a certain image. The more you bought into the lie that you could be a supermodel by buying the product the supermodel was selling, the more you sold out your true self. Depending on how far down the rabbit hole of not being true to yourself and relying on the image you have created, the harder it is to find the real person inside. That is why real people not actors are hard to find.
To find a real person you need to go deeper and lose the image. Finding a real person in the world today is like difficult, but you can find them if you look. Find the person that is not attached to their brand that doesn’t look like they are trying too hard and are comfortable in their own skin. This comfort level is a realness that cannot be faked. People flock to real people because that is what they wish they could be. Too bad that many are too afraid to take the leap.
