It is necessary for every Christian’s journey to reach a moment where we are willing to let go of our personal to-do lists and agendas in order to walk in the scriptures, which promise to include us in God’s plan for our life.
To truly heal our nation and its people, we must stop reacting, blaming, and stressing over who said what and instead commit our full focus to God’s ultimate battle plan for the healing of our nation and its people. It states that “if my people, who are referred to as my people by my name, will humble themselves, pray, seek my face, and turn from their (our) wicked ways,” then “I will hear from heaven and forgive their sin and heal their land (us),” according to the battle plan in 2 Chronicles 14:7. i
Have you been made aware that wicked ways include things such as unforgiveness toward others, irritability, vengeance seeking, backbiting, sowing discord and division among the people of God, gossiping, withholding comfort and encouragement from those who have offended you, and then justifying and rationalizing your actions? There are some adjustments that we must all make in order to continue to press forward in the Spirit of God as overcomers, and that is the theme of this chapter.
Jesus states in Matthew 16:19, “I will give you the keys of the Kingdom of Heaven, and whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven, and whatever you loose on earth will be loosed in heaven.” “Whatever you bind on earth will be bound in heaven,” says the Bible. Jesus knew that when we finally came to Him for forgiveness, healing, and comfort, we would be in a highly flawed state, and he prepared himself for that. Identifying the precise “keys” of binding and losing will allow us to release ourselves from shackles and obligations, but whether or not we choose to use them is totally up to us. In order to bind ourselves to the Kingdom pattern of God’s will, we have the option of using the key of binding, which has already been established in heaven for our profit and advantage.
In order for us to maintain the accumulation of unfulfilled demands, unhealed hurts, and unexplained fears that have gathered over our lifetimes, the key of loosing must be utilized to cut through our UNCERTAINLY RENEWED SOULS. Consider yourself lucky if you assume that no one knows how much you’ve been through. It is no coincidence that Jesus went through the same experiences we do in life, and He became exactly like us—a mortal human being living on the planet. We all suffer from the same illnesses, tribulations, problems, betrayals, rejections, and pains, and He subjected himself to all of these things on a regular basis. Consequently, knowing that God’s ultimate purposes were for good rather than for evil, he was able to do so with confidence (Jeremiah 29 : 11 ).
If you and I were to take an instant leap of faith in response to the Father’s promise to provide all we need if we devote our lives to Him, Jesus realized that it would be difficult for us to do so. Every one of us has learnt from our own personal life experiences that promises are frequently made with the greatest of intentions, only to be broken later when certain circumstances arise. Throughout our lives, we have experienced several disappointments, misinterpretations, and betrayals by persons in whom we had placed our faith and our trust. The realization that there is ONE who never betrays His promise, regardless of the circumstances, is not an easy one to come to terms with all at once.
We are expected to be on the lookout for number one, protecting and defending what we are convinced no one else will do for us, according to the standards of the world. The following message is being sent to you: “I am aware of your whereabouts, and I am sending you master keys that will unlock every chain in your heart, allowing me to be with you to heal your deepest hearts, darkest secrets, and most painful and humiliating events. With the use of these keys, you will be freed from all the bonds of fear and servitude, enabling you to receive, be, and do anything you set your mind to doing. It is my intention to provide you with an array of choices in the future. Then you will be able to fulfill your earthly destiny, which is to complete the work I left for you to complete when I returned to The Father.”
Jesus also recognized that our souls (mind, will, and emotions) will safeguard (by erecting personal interior strongholds) the vast bulk of the wicked input we have received and assimilated into our personal “life truths” during our entire lives. According to Thayer’s Greek-English Lexicon, our souls (mind, will, and emotions) used arguments and reasonings (excuses) to buttress and defend their opinions in Second Corinthians 10:3-5, regardless of whether their ideas were accurate or incorrect. In our hearts, we have personal inner strongholds that protect the reasons why we are unable to give up an addiction, a false belief, a false attitude, or a false pattern of thinking, as well as the reasons why we are so fearful of pressing into our destiny. We all have these personal inner strongholds.
Internal strongholds are places where we can keep the explanations we use to rationalize why we believe we will remain impoverished or unhealthy for the rest of our lives in tact. We employ rationalizations to excuse a variety of behaviors, including why we are “the way we are,” why it is clear that we can’t change, and why we cast blame on others for our issues, among other things. Your will must work in tandem with your actions in order for you to be able to persist, persevere, press forward, and move forward in your life. As much as you may believe that the spirit of your soul (mind/will/emotions) wants you to continue on in your spiritual journey, step out by faith to fulfill your purpose and destiny, the spirit of you is actually relying on your mind to bring up old hurts that have caused you to regress in your spiritual walk.
Therefore, it is absolutely essential that you develop the habit of consistently subordinating your will to God’s Will in your life. The Father’s Will is constantly in motion, and he is unrelenting in his pursuit of it. He is constantly on the lookout for opportunities to reveal Himself. This is simply a “hands-on” approach to learning the revelation process in its entirety. As long as you don’t put these principles into action, they will always be considered second-hand information in your eyes. Furthermore, while second-hand revelation may assist you in escaping from certain “small” circumstances, it will not assist you in escaping from large wars. To deal successfully with a serious fight, you must have first-hand, “been there-done that” spiritual wisdom derived from your own particular spiritual experience and understanding.
When Jesus said in Matthew 5: 3 that “blessed are the poor in spirit, for theirs is the kingdom of heaven,” he was giving us a recipe for blessing. The word “spirit” is used in this context to allude to the reason that a casual Bible reader becomes bewildered by certain notions in the text and even begins to believe that they are correct in their interpretation.
Despite what you may think, the terms spirit, heart, and flesh do not always have the meanings that you might expect them to have. These three words are commonly used to allude to the individual’s spirit (the mind, the will, and emotions). The word “spirit” is used in Matthew 5:3 to refer to the “soul,” which is correct (pneuma). “Poor” can be defined as having a conscious awareness of a spiritual need, choosing poverty, and consciously emptying one’s self of any and all human objectives, purposes, preconceived ideas, and mindsets in order to “constantly” receive from God, to name a few instances.

People who voluntarily choose to empty themselves of their own personal agendas and preconceived beliefs about what God intends, in exchange, are transformed into God-conscious beings who are freed from the burden of continual self-consciousness that comes with this state. These Saints will be “blessed” on an ongoing basis, and they will be able to take possession of the Kingdom of Heaven when the time comes.
“Stronghold thinking” refers to the process of deciding whether or not to continue believing the painful and obstructive things that your soul defends with its “stronghold thinking.” In the majority of situations, simply thinking about them, desiring them to be free, or sobbing them free will not be enough to break these persistent hold patterns. You’ll need to use the Kingdom key of loosening to pry, cut, and pull them out of their hiding places. In many situations, the lingering impacts of your most traumatic memories help to reinforce them, as they seem to repeat themselves over and over again in your mind’s eyes.
The situation arises when you are unable to decide how to prevent the occurrence of the ramifications from taking place. I’ve observed people attempting to chastise or coerce repercussions out of their life, consequences that were the product of the bad choices that they had made and that they were still making at the time of their attempt. This type of ramifications cannot be prevented from occurring in your life by ordering or rebuking them to do so. It’s the equivalent of trying to rebuke your nose with your finger. Whatever you do, no matter how many times you rebuke it or demand that it leave, it will be in the middle of your face until you do something about it.
For the time being, you will have to live with the consequences of your actions until you make a different choice. An entire group of people has become so engrossed in denial regarding the roots of their “soul deception” that they believe God understands and exempts them from complying with portions of His Word—the portions of His Word that they have chosen to ignore. God’s Grace, they reasoned, would be sufficient to allow them to accomplish anything they desired. Mistake after mistake after mistake! You will always be able to rely on God’s Mercy and Grace for everything in your life, but it will never be enough to repair the effects of your disobedience and denial.
The repercussions of your actions have even been known to trample you underfoot like a herd of elephants when God has lifted his grace and allowed them to happen.
Before you know it, you’re back to rebuking, ordering, and casting out while attempting to shove the elephants that are your consequences out of the way once more. If you align your will with God’s will and your mind with Christ’s thinking, the Holy Spirit can assist you in discovering the “TRUTH” of your consequences.
Attempt to thank Him for the repercussions that will help you learn where you went wrong so that you will not make the same error again in the future. When you have learned a lesson the hard way, it is much more difficult to forget what you have learned. Make an effort to sweep away the clouds and clutter of erroneous thought patterns and improper attitudes that have left you feeling doubtful of your capacity to make the best option next time.
Consider it a source of encouragement to know that “you can accomplish all things through Christ who empowers you” (Philippians 4:13 ). When there isn’t an abundance of wrong and confusing baggage clogging up your soul, your ability to make godly decisions is increased. Ability to commit to God’s Will and to let go of negative thought patterns can make it easier to navigate through the school of consequences that you have created as a result of making poor judgments in the first instance.
It is possible to learn from your mistakes even when you are living with the consequences of your poor decisions. How many of you are aware that while you are striving to clean up some of the difficulties in your life, God is always right beside you? The fact that you are coming closer to the time where you will be wholly reliant on Him and completely surrender to Him is something He is aware of.
God’s response in this situation would be… “you’ve been relying on the wrong things, and you need to start relying on ME.” As a result of traumatic experiences that occurred 10, 20, or even 30 years ago, you are striving to manage the consequences and impacts that have remained with you to this day. You’ll have to let go of everything and put your trust in Me to take care of everything in order to get everything back on track.
